Following the award of a new school cleaning contract and an increase in capacity across our existing sites, Sparrow Cleaning is recruiting four additional Cleaning Operatives across Horsham and Broadbridge Heath. 1 Position is left at Broadbridge Heath.
We're looking for reliable people who take pride in creating clean, safe and welcoming environments for pupils, staff and visitors.
Helping keep our schools clean, safe and ready for the day
School cleaning is about much more than making a room look tidy. Pupils and staff rely on the environment being clean, hygienic and ready to use each day.
You'll work through an agreed cleaning schedule covering areas such as classrooms, corridors, washrooms, offices, staff areas and communal spaces.
You'll become a regular part of the site team, so reliability, professional conduct and consistency are particularly important.
We're expanding the team
Sparrow Cleaning has recently secured an additional school cleaning contract while also increasing capacity across our existing sites.
What you'll be doing
The person we're looking for
Afternoon work that can fit around your day
Work is available Monday to Friday, typically between 16:00 and 19:00.
The exact days and hours offered will depend on the school site and position you are allocated to. We'll confirm this with you during the recruitment process so you know exactly what you're committing to.
A role where consistency really matters
Schools are busy environments and good cleaning often happens quietly in the background. Your work helps make sure classrooms and shared spaces are ready for pupils and staff when they arrive.
We'll give you the support to do the job properly
Never worked in cleaning before?
Please don't let that stop you applying. Previous cleaning experience is useful, but it isn't essential. A reliable person with a good attitude who takes pride in their work can learn our cleaning processes. Reliability, communication and professionalism are much harder to teach.
Attitude, reliability and willingness to learn matter to us.
